An extract from the book
"I feel like lazing and reading today" announced Anna. "I'm sure I've seen some deckchairs somewhere" They found them tucked away in the cupboard under the stairs. At the back of the cottage they discovered a real suntrap and settled down in comftable silence. Helen lifted her head - listening. "Was that the gate? You know it clicks". Anna listened. "I'll go and see. Maybe it's Joe. He won't know we're here". There was another click. As Anna tried to rise from the deckchair she stumbled, the deckchair falling over, making a loud noise. Anna ran round the side of the cottage, just catching sight of a car dissapearing up the lane.
